Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 – 1

The opening is great, by Abingdon Boys School. It features stills, black and white stills of the aftereffects of an earthquake.

The show starts off after the earthquake featuring 8.0 on the Richter scale. It then switches to a school scene. The students are getting their report cards and it’s almost summer.

Seems pretty much like a slice of life show so far. Dangg. I wished it didn’t end so cliffhangerish. I want more already.

Suzumiya Haruhi 2009 – 15

Upon first sight of episode 5, I was like …”OMG, not again!” I wonder if there’s going to be a major change in this one. I can already spot minor changes like Kyon’s shirt and hair. Ooohh, he’s wearing a cap this time, and there’s outfit changes in everyone except Yuki. Everytime, I love Yuki’s mask.

Still…I wonder how long this repition will last. They can’t just keep airing Endless Eight over and over until the end. There’s only…if it’s 28 episodes long, there’s 23 episodes left. I expect next week to be an Endless Eight too just so I don’t get disappointed.

Kyon’s math skillz are particularly really fast. Wow. Multiplying 15,513 times 3 weeks and converting it to years…is hard. Well, it’s easy, but doing it in your head would be hard.

Spice and Wolf II – 1

I like the peaceful opening song. The scenes displayed during the opening is always very calming.

The show starts off with Horo in a snowy field faced with the other wolves and Lawrence. It was just her dreaming though.

I’m not good with the summarizing business…but I’ll try my best. Horo’s hungry, and they’re approaching Kumorson. They meet a merchant named Amati while trying to buy fish for dinner. It seems Amati fell in love with Horo at first sight or something. Yep, definitely a feeling of sudden affection present here.

Horo’s quite the drinker. She’s feeling nostalgic about her home, Yoitsu. Lawrence also remembers hearing someone talking about Yoitsu. I bet something bad happened to it.

Making a deal selling nails…is interesting. I’m sure I could find nails at Home Depot or something, but they’re not really in high demand, even in winter. I don’t get why someone would pay so much for nails. He actually made a good deal, I think.

The ending is better than the last one.

Umineko no Naku Koro Ni – 2

I just noticed that I really don’t like Umineko’s ending theme. The voice annoys me. I know I didn’t talk about the opening before so I’ll talk about it now. I like the song, except for the screaming parts that sound like they’re from death music, more opera like. The animation is entertaining to watch.

Everyone is in the dining room, talking about who lent Maria the white umbrella. Seems like it was nobody in the household.

Upon reading the letter that Beatrice gave her, Maria’s eyes went big. Mang, I love those eyes. They make the situation all dramatic. I wonder why nobody notices her eyes. They look pretty insane. The contract states that the family will only get the gold if somebody discovers the hiding place of the hidden gold or else, Beatrice will take the gold away.

Kinzo is locked up in his room, refusing to answer to his family. His room is scary. I’m hating on Battler’s eyes. They’re so big for a guy. Kyrie deducts that Beatrice is one of the 18 people on the island. And also the key to finding the gold lies in Maria. Those golden bars exist! They’re real…and they have a freaky glow to them which is weird.

George proposes toShannon (Sayo.) I wonder what she’ll say. George is so understanding. A storm comes, how typical. In the morning, Gohda is missing and the telephone lines are out. Also Natsuhi’s husband Krauss, Rudolph, Rosa, and Shannon are all  missing. Outside in the shed, there is an alchemy circle…or at least that’s what it looks like. There’s six dead bodies in the shed; the ones that I said were missing before. What a tragic ending to this episode.

Princess Lover – 1

Although I didn’t plan on watching Princess Lover, I decided to give it a shot because you never know, it actually might be good. I know that the harem part sorta annoys me but I still have to give it a try since some harems can be quite good. The amazing thing about the main guy character this time, he isn’t some wimpy loser that isn’t strong at all, he’s actually really cool. It starts off with the main character practicing kendo. Kendo’s awesome ^.^ At one time, I wish I could learn.

The opening song isn’t superbly amazing. It introduces all the girls. And there’s a lot. Well…I think it’s a lot. I like the fireworks at night scene and the dance one. Although the song isn’t great, the animation isn’t that bad. And their dresses are really pretty.

“Last time I’ve ever seen my parents,” sad line. I’m not emotional, but losing your parents is a sad thing. Arima Teppei’s bike skills are amazing. He’s such a hero, saving a person he doesn’t know. His flip was so cool~ I might continue this show after all, since the main character isn’t some loser wimp.

The butler goes into action when Teppei is faced with a gun. =o Charlotte’s boobs bounce -.- How cliche. What type of question is “How do my breasts feel?” x.x Well, Charlotte seems like a good person.

Parents suddenly dying and son goes into a rich family, finding out that he has a grandfather that lives like a millionaire. Unlike other rich grandfathers I’ve seen, this one has a sense of humor ^.^

So there’s a little girl in this mix named Maria. So very…English names. Just by seeing a woman practicing with her sword, he grabs his katana and runs out. What an interesting fellow. He’s really a sword enthusiast. And Sylvia’s got bigger boobs than Charlotte. -sigh- I hate fanservice. Is it really necessary? I doubt anyone has boobs like those in real life -.-  The ending left something to be wanted. I just don’t feel completed. But I guess it’s okay since I’ll be continuing this series.
