Umineko No Naku Koro Ni – 1

It starts off with a dark scene between two men. One man screams out the name Beatrice and wishes to see her smile one more time. At this point, I don’t really understand this scene.
The scene changes to Rokken Island, an island that belongs to the Ushiromiya Family. It’s October 4th, 1986, in the morning. Ushiromiya Battler and his family show up; I assume they’ve just gotten there by boat. Introductions are made x]

They go to their mansion/ villa house thingie. They meet the servants. One of which is an angsty boy named Kanon.

The main in the first scene goes by the name of Ushiromiya Kinzou. Back to the group, they see a picture…of Beatrice, a witch. Such a scary looking picture. We discover that Kinzou has been very successful, making the family richer than ever in just 20 years. There is an argument between Krauss and the others. He is accused of embezzlement, but Natsuhi speaks up causing her to be yelled at.

The legend of the family gold: Battler’s grandfather meets Beatrice the witch. In return for signing the contract, he gets tons of gold. There are four siblings fighting for the money. They make deals, but Krauss doesn’t fall for their trap.

Maria cries while searching for her lost rose. She keeps making the ‘oooh’ noise, and this provokes her mother to hit her. As it starts to rain, Kinzou yells that Beatrice came late. He throws his ring into the air. When dinner’s ready, Maria is still missing. She’s found though, saying that she borrowed an umbrella from Beatrice. End.

Thoughts

The main character annoys me. I just don’t like the way that he wants to touch the girls’ breasts. Seems like a harem >.< The storyline still seems interesting though.

Overall, I still feel like I’m really bad at summaries. I hope I can get better soon. I don’t really get the story that well. x.x
