Bakemonogatari – 1

The opening starts off with a panty shot…that’s…interesting. I’m not sure if I like the opening or not. It doesn’t seem to be the real opening though. Just random scenes and a lot of words.

The visuals and animation is awesome, especially the visuals. It starts off with a girl falling and a guy catching her on this huge spiraling staircase. It seems that the cultural festivals approaching. The catch scene before was Araragi catching Hitagi. Araragi is curious about a girl with a weak body named Hitagi. I noticed that this is in Araragi’s point of view.

Some things I really don’t understand. How come Araragi is suddenly getting attacks by Hitagi? Hitagi apparently weights 5 kilograms. Wow, that’s so light, but it’s not a secret that is important enough to attack somebody for it. Even after promising to be silent, he still gets attacked by the stapler in the end in his mouth.

Hitagi Senjohara…declared war on Araragi. Amazingly, she carries weapons in her sleeves everywhere; pens, pencils, dangerous school supplies. Araragi is actually a vampire. Meme Oshino was able to change Araragi back into a human. The visuals are still getting more awesome. Or maybe it’s just me.

Senjohara’s such a dangerous person. If she doesn’t respond within a few minutes, 5000 people will attack Araragi’s family. Such a big threat. Haha, Hitagi sure is conceited, wanting to be called Senjohara-sama.

I don’t really see a plot going on yet, so I look forward to watching the next episode. The ending depicted a single picture.
